- Meeting regarding areas of collaboration between the National Catholic AIDS Network and CRS.
- Presentation for the Divine Savior Priests in Techny, IL.
- Higher Education Wrap-Around meeting, Washington, DC.
- Social Ministries Gathering, Washington, DC.
- AIDS Educators Roundtable meeting, Washington, DC.
- Catholic HIV/AIDS Partners meeting, United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.
- National Catholic Education Association presentations in Philadelphia, with Jen Carr (Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston) and Dan Lunney.
- Loyola University Chicago and the National Catholic AIDS Network Collaboration Agreement: The foundation for the important collaboration agreement between the Loyola University Chicago and the Network was negotiated during the fiscal year which ended on March 31, 2005 and the agreement went into effect 1 July 2005. One of the main goals of the collaboration was to increase the opportunities for HIV/AIDS education. The first graduate course as part of this agreement, HIV/AIDS: Pastoral Issues and Responses, was taught by Dan Lunney and offered in conjunction with the 19th Annual HIV/AIDS Ministry Conference in July 2006.
- Catholic Relief Services and the National Catholic AIDS Network Collaboration: The focus of the collaboration between Catholic Relief Services and the Network was on developing the College Leaders HIV/AIDS Awareness Initiative. Catholic Relief Services provided a grant to help bring 21 college leaders to the 18th Annual National Catholic HIV/AIDS Ministry Conference in July 2005. In addition to the College Leaders Initiative, CRS and the Network are working together in the enhancing and marketing the AIDS Compassion Sunday program. The College Leaders HIV/AIDS Awareness Initiative and AIDS Compassion Sunday Initiative provide resources for colleges and parishes, respectively. Many members of the Network and partner organizations have helped to develop and enrich these programs.
- Bilingual ‘Train the Trainers’ in Many Threads, One Weave: In collaboration with the Office for Hispanic Affairs of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and with assistance of The Leadership Campaign on AIDS, the Network conducted a training in Dallas in April 2005. The event The Bilingual Training in Many Threads, One Weave successfully assembled a dynamic and highly motivated group of Hispanic ministry leaders who committed themselves to promote HIV and AIDS education in their local parish communities.
