A History of Achievement

Successful pilots for Many Threads, One Weave, a resource manual and training program produced in collaboration with Catholic Charities USA to help initiate or enhance parish-based HIV/AIDS ministries. The program was launched at the 12th National Catholic HIV/AIDS Ministry Conference in July. Publications of the resource manual packaged with the USCC video Living with AIDS: An Occasion of Grace was scheduled for Fall 1999, and it was available in English and Spanish.

Successful planning for launch of Parish program at the 1999 Ministry Conference, including a day long retreat providing expanded programmatic offerings in response to prior year evaluation.

Convened the 12th National Catholic HIV/ AIDS Ministry Conference, "Prophetic Voices," at Loyola University, Chicago, IL in July 1999. The conference was attended by nearly 300 participants and presenters from 31 states, the District of Columbia and six countries.
