Giving witness to the The National Catholic AIDS Network assists the Church in recognizing the pain and the unique challenges inherent in the HIV/AIDS pandemic and in living out the Gospel mandate by offering compassionate support, education, referral and technical assistance. — Adopted by the Board of Directors, October of 1998
Our prayer is that our site will provide you with useful information and resources. We hope this site will help our Catholic readers to connect with others in our tradition who are either living with or affected by HIV, or are assisting them. In a similar way, we hope that other readers will benefit from the various resources and updates that we will continue to make available on this site – at least for the foreseeable future. We are most grateful to the Network’s former Executive Director, Dan Lunney, for his generous volunteer service through the maintenance of this website. In the spirit of the National Catholic AIDS Network, we encourage you to support other diocesan, regional, national and global efforts that respond to HIV and AIDS including but not limited to: Catholic Relief Services, Catholic Charities USA and the National Black Catholic Congress.
