Clergy and Religious HIV/AIDS Roundtable
The purpose of the annual Clergy and Religious Roundtable is to bring together leaders from the clergy, religious communities, formation and professional ministry to strategize how to address the reality of HIV/AIDS in our communities and our world.
The Clergy and Religious HIV/AIDS Roundtable strives to increase the capacity of clergy, religious and professional ministers to provide compassionate nonjudgmental care to people living with HIV/AIDS by presenting educational programs that deal with dimensions of the HIV/AIDS experience from the perspectives of theology, ethics, medicine, and ministry.
Networking and Referrals
The Network collaborates with national and international AIDS service organizations and assists Catholic leaders and congregations in responding to the impact of HIV/AIDS. In a typical year, Network staff respond to over 600 referral, technical support, and networking inquiries.
In conjunction with partners, the Network developed and maintained a database of HIV and AIDS ministries to promote Networking." The Network has also supported theological reflection and dialogue within the Roman Catholic perspective relating to the experience of HIV/AIDS.
