World AIDS Day 2003 - "Live and Let Live"
For a second year, NCAN is collaborating with the Secretariat for African American Catholics and the Secretariat for Hispanic Affairs of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops and the Leadership Campaign on AIDS of the US Department of Health and Human Services to provide every parish in the United States with liturgical resources for World AIDS Day. The resources include:
- A letter
from Bishop Gordon Bennett, Chairman of the Committee on African Catholics
and Bishop James Tamayo, Chairman of the Committee on Hispanic Affairs
to their brother Bishops.
- A
letter from
Bishop Howard Hubbard, NCAN Episcopal Moderator which is addressed
to Pastors.
- An
assortment of liturgical resources including
sample intercessions and homily notes.
Please note that the date in the "Homily Notes" is incorrect. The correct date is November 30th: The First Sunday of Advent. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
Thanks to all who through their hard work have made these resources available.
