The National College Attainment Network (NCAN) is excited to announce the launch of our Federal Policy Action Center! This web page is designed to help our members, as well as the postsecondary access and success field, stay informed of relevant federal policy updates and take action to advocate for the programs and funding that matter most to the students and families we serve.

We have compiled the information, tools, and resources you need to engage in successful advocacy work and stay informed of recent federal policy updates. We will regularly update this page as new links and resources are made available.

The Action Center outlines six key issues in federal policy action: reconciliation and budget cutsprotecting the Pell Grantattacks on diversitydismantling/restructuring of the US Department of Education and education researchdata privacy, and immigration enforcement. You can learn more about these issues, and access related resources, by clicking on the hyperlinks.

Also included in the Action Center are email templates, advocacy how-to resources, and additional tools that you can use in your policy and advocacy work.

Finally, our most recent federal policy updates and blogs can be found at the bottom of the page.

Access NCAN’s Federal Policy Action Center here.
