Undergraduate enrollment in fall 2023 grew for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic, rising 2.1%. But what will this fall bring, especially for first-time enrollees, students of color, and Pell Grant recipients? Did the FAFSA completion challenges result in lower enrollment as predicted? What effect can we discern from the U.S. Supreme Court’s ban on the use of race-conscious college admissions? How does this relate to longer-term trends in postsecondary enrollment for students who experience the greatest barriers to higher education? Presenters: - Kim Cook - CEO, NCAN
- Doug Shapiro - Executive Research Director, National Student Clearinghouse
- Catalina Cifuentes - Executive Director of College and Career Readiness, Riverside County (CA) Office of Education
