Most states now incorporate college, career, and/or military readiness (CCMR) as part of their federal or state accountability reporting, which is important for making sure that our systems and schools are really preparing students for their next, best steps after high school. However, how states measure that readiness varies widely. Additionally, research tells us that the readiness indicators themselves do not uniformly align or associate with actual postsecondary outcomes. On this National College Attainment Network (NCAN) webinar, we’ll hear from two experts and discuss the current landscape of CCMR readiness standards and the evidence around their predictive power. Presenters: - Kristin Blagg, Principal Research Associate, Urban Institute
- Anne Hyslop, Director of Policy Development, Alliance for Excellent Education
Price: - Members: Free
- Non-members: $99. Click here to explore all member benefits and join NCAN!
This event recording will be available to NCAN members only. Closed captioning is available through Zoom for all NCAN webinars and peer exchanges. Please reach out to elearning@ncan.org with additional questions.
