Major federal cuts to Medicaid and SNAP are coming, and they'll reshape college access in your state. The budget reconciliation bill enacted in July 2025 triggered escalating cuts that will strain state budgets, ultimately affecting students' ability to afford college. But the impact won't be uniform: some states will face far steeper cuts than others. Join state higher education leaders for a candid discussion of how different states will be affected and concrete strategies NCAN members can implement now to protect student access and success. Presenters: - Jim Pinkard, Director, Office of Postsecondary Finance and Capital, Oregon Higher Education Coordinating Commission
- Dr. Daisy Gonzales, Executive Director, California Student Aid Commission
Price: - Members: Free
- Non-members: $99. Click here to explore all member benefits and join NCAN!
This event recording will be available to NCAN members only. Closed captioning is available through Zoom for all NCAN webinars and peer exchanges. Please reach out to elearning@ncan.org with additional questions.
