Danise Peña

Danise Peña joined NCAN in July 2023 and has years of experience supporting executives, board members, and other C-suite leaders. As Executive Assistant, she aids in scheduling and travel support, coordinates speaking opportunities and influencer engagement, prepares materials and meetings for NCAN’s Board of Directors, and supports NCAN’s grant-seeking, management, and stewardship efforts.

Peña previously held positions with the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, Mb Staffing Services, and The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research. She currently has her own business, Danise Peña Coaching & Consulting, and is a certified Emotional Freedom Techniques practitioner.

Peña hails from the great state of Texas and holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Alabama. In her spare time, she enjoys salsa and bachata dancing and is currently learning to play bluegrass fiddle.
