Magnus Noble

Midwest Policy Fellow

Pronouns: He/Him/His

As a Midwest Policy Fellow, Magnus Noble supports NCAN member organizations in advancing state policy initiatives that improve college affordability for students from low-income families. He works closely with members in Minnesota, Michigan, and Ohio to identify and advance policy changes that reduce financial barriers to higher education.

Before joining NCAN, Noble interned with US Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL), served as a Special Projects Intern in the Office of the President at John A. Logan College, and was a Summer Leader through the Pattis Family Foundation Summer Leadership Program at Women Employed. He is pursuing a degree in Public and Nonprofit Administration at the University of Illinois Springfield and serves as the Nontraditional Student Board Member for the Illinois Board of Higher Education. Across these roles, Noble has advocated for the needs of students, particularly those from low-income and nontraditional backgrounds, at the federal, state, and local levels.

Outside of his policy work, Noble enjoys exploring new music, traveling, and hiking in the fall and winter.
