Simone Pringle

Simone Pringle joined the National College Attainment Network (NCAN) in January 2023. As Program Associate, she supports members in closing equity gaps in postsecondary education by coordinating learning opportunities and professional development content.

A native of Cleveland, OH, Pringle holds a bachelor's degree in Journalism from Howard University and a master's degree in Education Policy and Leadership from American University. Prior to joining NCAN, Pringle was an Academic Services Assistant at American University Washington College of Law, a fellow at Reach Higher, and a substitute teacher, among other roles. A proud HBCU grad, Pringle gives back to her alma mater by serving as the president of the Howard University Alumni Club of Montgomery County, Maryland.

In her spare time, Pringle enjoys reading and writing fiction and poetry, as well as completing puzzles. Since 2021, she's assembled over 70,000 pieces! She also enjoys going to stand-up comedy shows. Since 2023, Simone has seen more than 20 live comedy shows, including Zainab Johnson, Dulce Sloan, Vir Das, and fellow Howard alum Erin Jackson.
