New year, new colleagues! NCAN is excited to welcome David LaNore as our new member services associate.
David's first day at NCAN was Jan. 3, which was also our new chief of staff Nancy Washington's first day.
"We're thrilled to have David join Team NCAN," said Zenia Henderson, director of member and partner engagement. "His more than 15 years in the college attainment field make him a wealth of knowledge for our members. David will help us to strengthen our
capacity-building resources and provide deeper opportunities for our members to engage with NCAN in meaningful and transformational ways."
Throughout his career, David has served in multiple positions at NCAN member organizations.
Most recently, he served as a college success advisor with CollegeBound Foundation in Baltimore, providing student-centered programming and retention advising. He was also a peer mentor coordinator for a budding multi-campus peer mentoring program.
And at Michigan College Access Network (MCAN), David served as a college access advisor initiating the development of college access programming for a fledgling countywide college access network. He also assisted in the recruitment and training of new
community network members and investing stakeholders.
