The National College Attainment Network (NCAN)'s return to an in-person conference this year brought passionate leaders from the field of college access and success together in Atlanta, GA. Being the birthplace of the Civil Rights Movement, Atlanta was a fitting host for the 2022 NCAN National Conference and inspired reflection on the progress our nation has made in advancing equity in education.

During our Lightning Talks plenary session, three leaders of NCAN member organizations responded to the question, "Is there a right to postsecondary attainment?" Drawing knowledge from their own experiences in the field, they discussed the powerful impact of education and the progress that needs to be made to make postsecondary attainment possible for all.

Their 15-minute presentations will leave you inspired and empowered to advocate for closing equity gaps in postsecondary attainment.
