The National College Attainment Network (NCAN) is pleased to announce the receipt of two grants that will continue supporting our ongoing efforts to strengthen the capacity of our members while also directly supporting their direct service work in two key areas of postsecondary success.

First, the Oak Foundation’s generous grant will position NCAN to help members better support the postsecondary transition for students who experience learning differences over the next four years. The 2nd, a responsive grant from the ECMC Foundation, will help members support students’ mental health and wellness in their postsecondary pursuits.

Applications for both grants opened October 18. NCAN members interested in these areas of work can apply for both grants but may only receive and participate in one of these grant-funded projects. A brief overview of each grant is provided below. We are also hosting an informational webinar on October 28 where you can learn more about eligibility, the application process, the scope of work, and more! For application related questions contact David LaNore at lanore@ncan.org.

Each application will be judged on its own completion, quality, and merit. Financially active membership is a part of eligibility for both opportunities. If your organization has yet to renew its NCAN membership for the fiscal year 2022-23, please contact Tong Lee at leet@ncan.org immediately and ensure eligibility to apply.
