Through a collaboration with the Michigan College Attainment Network [a National College Attainment Network (NCAN) member!], OneGoal (another
NCAN member!) is seeking new district partners across Michigan to participate in their Leadership Network (OLN). The OLN is a valuable model
for scaling college and career readiness programming within and across states.
Districts and schools interested in learning more should schedulea conversation or submit their application. Are you a Michigan-based college access program, community-based organization, or otherwise interested in advancing college and career readiness in the state? Pass this along to your district
partners!
Currently, 40 geographically and demographically diverse districts across Illinois and Kentucky partner with OneGoal to support their postsecondary readiness
efforts. This includes work strengthening district strategic planning on postsecondary readiness, counseling team support, and assistance on course pathways and postsecondary partnerships. Through participation in the OLN, districts receive tailored
coaching based on each districts' needs and engage in a community of practice with peers from across the state.
District partners are enthusiastic about the value of the partnership. "After meeting with OneGoal, I felt like a Principal and instructional coach again,” notes Brent Ashbaugh, Principal of Rochester, CUSD in Rochester, Illinois. “Honestly, I felt like
a store manager for the last two years having to manage COVID protocols and contact tracing, and I didn’t feel like I had been a good leader. OneGoal helped me get that focus back and see how much more is possible for supporting our students.”
