Dejanique Powell

Dejanique Powell is a senior first-generation college student at Norfolk (VA) State University (NSU) pursuing a BA in Fine Arts and Graphic Design, with plans to graduate in May 2026. Her interests include brand design, advertising, and social media management, which she has explored through campus leadership and professional experience.

Powell held leadership roles as Communications Director of the Robert C. Nusbaum Honors College Student Association, Vice President of the Graphic Design and Animation Club, and Social Media Manager of NSU Naturals. She interned with Red Orange Studio and is currently a Graphic Design Assistant for NSU's Office of Admissions.

Originally from Richmond, VA, she enjoys drawing, hair styling, and experimenting with fashion. As the National College Attainment Network's (NCAN) Communication Intern, she is eager to contribute her skills, embrace new learning opportunities, and grow both personally and professionally.
